RECYCLED WORKSHOPS

This workshop is designed as an introduction to the basic methods of kiln formed glass by fusing, slumping and casting. It is a practical course combining kinesthetic and visual learning styles to develop skills through a variety of teaching methods.

The workshop is tailored for beginners and improvers.

The day will take the format of demonstrations, and a selection of 3D & 2D examples. The workshop emphasis will be on making and experimenting with re-usable materials alongside the glass, including wire, tin, shell and dried leaves and discovering new techniques of kiln formed glass.

All students work will be fired in a kiln for a period of time and delivered to you within 2/3 weeks of the workshop.

"Anita does the most amazing work which she sells at fairs and gallery exhibitions but she also does workshops ....It is a hugely creative day and really absorbing.

The best bit is that all the glass is recycled using old window glass, primarily."
